WHO I AM

I have been exploring the education that realizes the individual unique competencies, inspires and engage learners, makes them confident, and help them find their life purpose and their passion.

For the last 25 years, I have been engaged in educational development for disadvantaged children and youth in Asia and Africa, such as Indonesia, the Philippines, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Lao PDR, Tanzania and Kenya. I have expertise in designing and implementing programmes related to ICT, literacy, non-formal education, lifelong learning, and teacher education.

I initiated a number of innovative projects, such as a mobile-based literacy programme for women in Pakistan, disaster risk reduction education gamification, tablet-based literacy for out-of-school children of Myanmar and Thailand, etc.

Currently, I am working as the head a.i. of UNESCO Myanmar Office
